MOST MARKETING COMPANIES DON'T GIVE A F*CK
ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS

I’m not having a go at marketing companies or individuals and I don’t wish to come across as arrogant, I'm just being brutally honest which actually is what I am known for.

Marketing agencies are siloed in their thinking they tend to sell individual services SEO, website design, social media, etc. They are focused on their turnover, not the clients (why wouldn't they be), and haven't the skill set or more importantly the will, to investigate whether the services they sell will help the potential client's business grow. They just want to sell.

On the other side business owners know what they want but often don't know what they need (they are business owners not marketing people) and therefore can make poorly informed decisions and be easily swayed by companies selling their services. The blind, leading the blind.

If a business wishes to grow or is failing to win the business they feel they deserve what is required BEFORE they spend any money on marketing or branding is an external, third-party, totally objective, business overview (clients have called mine an acid bath) to determine where the real issues lie and what needs fixing.
